Kodagu, Sep. 5: Karnataka forest officials have arrested a venison hunting gang of 5 people in Kodagu district for shooting at a tiger and decamping with its claws and canines from Nagarhole Tiger Reserve. All the accused came from a village which abuts the National Park. They used a licensed double barrel gun to shoot the wild animals.
All the accused have been arrested under Wild Life Protection Act along with other acts. They were produced to the court and are currently in judicial custody.
