He is an IPS officer treats Covid-patients equipped with Stethoscope

From our Correspondent, Sep. 15: He is an IPS in disguise of a doctor or a doctor in disguise of an IPS. He likes to chase the miscreants and loves to treat patients. One comes from his bindings as a police officer and the other comes out from his heart. He not only serves the Covid-infected colleagues, but also keeps his jurisdiction free from crimes.
He is Hossain hailed from Uttar Dinajpur who always wanted to be a police-officer from his boyhood after inspired by the police personnel and their responsibility. But family wanted to see him as a doctor who serves for the mankind. Hossain did it. He passed the MBBS from Aligarh Muslim University in 2012 to honor the dream of his family. In 2014, he did the MD on community medicine from Lucknow. After that, he sat for the IPS exam. Finally, he joined the police family as ACP Barrackpore and later as an SDPO of Alipurduar.

In 2020, he joined the Malda Police as Additional Police Super (HQ). From the joining day, he had started a free medical practicing.
“My mission is to get the Covid-patients well. When I am informed about any corona-virus infected patient, I prescribed medicine for him/her,” said Hossain.
According to police source, around 23o police personnel were infected corona-virus in the district. An isolation-ward has been functioning for them. One hundred seventy have been already got well by his treatment.
Hossain is greeted not only by his colleagues, but the SP personally greeted him for his special role as a doctor.
Aloke Rajoria, the SP of Malda, said. “We, the police family, is proud of him. He is an IPS in disguise of a doctor or a doctor in disguise of an IPS.”
